Olivia showed off her art at a personalized art show, complete with a personal tour through Livi's projects, art critiques, displays, snacks and family. Livi definitely has some talent! We loved seeing all of her favorite pieces. She said her favorite medium right now is watercolor, followed closely by gauche paint. The wind picture and black and white next to it are self portraits. The birds are a stamp press, sounded cool. We love all of the detail work. Great job Olivia!
I got roped into one more thing... This is a fun one. It's Bear Lake Kids Club, where we are trying to give local kids experiences in what our valley has to offer, sports, learning experiences, and a healthy respect for the outdoors. Our first activity was outdoor winter sports, snowmobiles, xc skis, snow safety and snowshoes. We had 49 kids! The kids had a blast, we fed them lunch and rotated through the different experiences. Thankfully we had lots of parent volunteers that joined us. We couldn't have done it without them. Looking forward to more fun with these amazing kids!
While Wes was in Baja, I flew up to Portland to spend a few days with Kori for her 30th birthday. We went shopping and bought her a few things for her birthday. We ate a lot of yummy food. We did a murder game. We visited the largest bookstore in America. We hit Cannon Beach. It was so fun! Happy Birthday to our sweet daughter, we love you so much!
