Happy B-day Grandpa Mike!

I wanted to get these photos in of Grandma and Grandpa. They came to visit and celebrate Grandpa Mike's birthday! We had presents and went to dinner at Copper Mill (blazer strips, yum!) Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

My Spice Drawer

...because it feels so good to have just one thing in my life that's organized! I lined a drawer with metal and then put the spices in those little tins with the magnetic bottoms. They stay put in the drawer, and they are all labeled and organized alphabetically too. I think it's a great idea, so I'm sharing. I love it because now when my life feels out of control, I still know I have that drawer!!

Hello, Zeeba Neighbah!

We are comic strip junkies at our house and Pearls Before Swine is our favorite right now. We especially love the crocs! They are dimwitted predators who are always trying to kill their neighbor the zebra, but they're too dumb to ever get the job done. It's hilarious! Kori says she is an especially diehard fan. Clint says "we ees muss eat da zeeba neighbah!" Yeah, we love the crocs, but we really don't want to eat our neighbors!!

We Blog!

This is the first ever Thompson Family blog! We don't know what we're doing yet, but I did have to make it "cute" before I could have anyone look at it! I'm hoping my kids will help keep this updated, so I have no idea what will be on here in the future. For now, I hope to be able to better keep in touch with family and friends. I love seeing all of your blogs and getting an inside peek into your daily lives. It helps me feel better connected to you. So here goes for us!! Blog out!
