"A person should have wings to carry them where their dreams go, but sometimes (a helicopter and) a pair of skis makes a good substitute." Hans Gmoser
Wes spent this past week helicopter skiing in Kootenay, British Columbia.
His group was disappointed that they could only ski 2 days out of the 4 because of low visibility. But they skied hard the days they went. Wes got over 40,000 vertical feet in those 2 days and had a great time.
Wes went with his brother Erick, Erick's son Brady, and a few other people that they have gone with before.
I don't know why I can't get Brady's photo to upload correctly, but this is the best I could do!
Here is Bob the guide:
Some skiing pics:
This is looking up from where they started on a run called Batman.
And a tiny video of Brady and Erick skiing. You can hear the helicopter in the background:
It sure is pretty up there!

Winter Camp
Brrrrr.... I guess if he's going to be an Eagle Scout, Clint has to do some winter camping. We've been in the single digits the past week and a half, so lucky for our Scout troop it snowed last night which warmed things up significantly. Also lucky for our troop, they're not far from home. They do this winter camp in an empty lot across the street from the Scoutmaster's house. We are lucky that Clint has such an awesome Scoutmaster, Holbrook. Not Mr. or Brother or even Bob, it's just Holbrook. He is phenomenal. Our troop has a great tradition of Scouting, and a very high percentage of Scouts that receive their Eagles. Clint is well on his way, and he enjoys his Boy Scout experiences a lot. I hope he stays warm tonight, we might have to warm him up in the hot tub tomorrow morning!

Sunday Nap - Blog Post by Kori
I will probably be in a little bit of trouble when my mom discovers this, but I couldn't resist.
My parents are very much in love and they cuddle and kiss all the time. But most often, you will find them dozing the day away on the couch, especially on a Sunday afternoon. I now know where I get my sleepy genes from. I took the opportunity to sneak some shots of them sleeping. Enjoy.
Aren't they cute?
