Father's Day Surprise

Wes shocked us all on Father's Day morning!  Can you see the difference?

Did you see it?  Yes, the marvelous mustache is gone!  This is only the 3rd time I have ever seen Wes without his mustache, and he has only ever left it off for about a week each time.  The last time he shaved it was when Kori was born, so our kids have not really ever seen him without it.  They just stared at him at breakfast, and Clint asked "how long will it take Dad to grow back his mustache?"  I think he is handsome either way.  I kind of like the change and I hope he'll leave it like this for a while.  We'll see...

Girls Night Out!

It was our RS Fancy Nancy Party!  I am in charge of the RS activities now, and I really don't feel like I know what I'm doing yet, but I was very pleased that this one turned out so well.  We invited Sisters of all ages, and we dressed fancy, ate fancy food, had pedicures and hairstyle demos, and I was in charge of a headband craft.  We also had a photo booth set up with props and costumes and the pictures turned out so darling.  Here are just a few of the pics.  What cuties we have in our ward!!  Thanks for coming everyone, hope you had a fancy time!!

Boating At Cutler

It was our first outing of the summer, and Colton's first outing in nearly 3 years!  It was a beautiful day, the water was brisk but pretty, and the boat ran great!  Only Kori couldn't go because she had to work.  But we did have Karlee and Connor with us.  I was a little under the weather so I didn't get in the water, but everyone else had a fun time!

Colton hasn't lost his skills, but he did think the water was freezing!

This is the fish eye setting.  I have no idea why I need a fish eye setting, it just makes everything look weird.

Karlee is learning how to slalom.  She can pop right out of the water no problem!  She's strong.  She didn't stay up very long though.  I got a few pics of her UP...

She did great!  She'll be a slalom skier before the end of the summer for sure!

We finally threw out the other ski so she could have some time up out of the water.

We Have Leaves!

We have been checking on Clint's leaves several times this Spring.  We did have to replant a few of them after they were pulled up again.  Most of them have been left alone though, and most of them have leaves!!  It is so satisfying to see green on these trees!  Success!!
