Pumpkin Walk

Clint and I enjoyed the annual Pumpkin Walk this afternoon!  The theme was "It's Classic."  It definitely felt like Fall with a little chill in the air, but it was a pretty day!
Aw, we love Arthur!

Clint felt right at home with this display of Dr. Who!

I liked the Wicked one!

The Little Rascals was pretty cute!

LOVED the Lego Movie display!!

Cute Hungry Caterpillar!

Awesome Avengers!

We took this pic of Captain America for Kori!

A Christmas Carol was awesome!

We love the Muppets!

Snoopy and Woodstock were cute!

The Mary Poppins display was really well done!

And of course, there had to be a Frozen one!

Minions!

There was a pumpkin display of Robin Willams roles as well as these ones in the building.

A whole wall of cereal art!

Our own Mr. Incredible!

And Cinderella!

"Explelliarmus!"  Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday Little Mommy!

We celebrated Karlee's birthday a couple of days early.  It was a Chinese food party, cause she loves Chinese food, and since she's expecting she should get anything she wants!  Am I right?!?  We gave her a few baby things, newborn clothes, some board books, and an advent calendar for Christmas just like the one our kids grew up with.  I hope the Thompson grandkids will enjoy that too!  We love you Karlee!  We think you're pretty much perfect!  And this next year is going to be so dang fun!!!  Happy Birthday!
Not sure what was going on with Clint's face in this first pic.  I'm pretty sure he was just trying to make a goofy face.

Tried a couple of new recipes for Ham Fried Rice and Beef And Broccoli, and they turned out yummy.

We also had our old standby, Sweet And Sour Chicken, plus fried won tons, asian salad, and fortune cookies with about the dumbest fortunes ever!  We wondered if the regular fortune writers were on strike when they made those or something.

The cute little parents.

The grandparents sent down this cute little kangaroo!

We picked out a few cute board books for Baby Mac.

Baby Mac also got a couple of new shirts and some cheetah pants!

Mmmm... Pumpkin Cake!

After some yummy cake and ice cream, we Face Timed with Kori for the first time since she's been in Ecuador!  The service was a little in and out, and she couldn't see us for most of it, but we could see her!  And it was great to hear her voice.  Then we watched Despicable Me.  It was a fun party.  Hope you have a wonderful birthday on the actual day this week, Karlee!!

Fall Carnival

Last night was the annual Fall Carnival at the church.  This is such a fun tradition that has been going on since about forever.  Well, at least since we were still new in the ward!  Is that forever??  Just the parents were able to go.  Clint had to work.  Darn.  Wes helped man the "stomp the balloon" game booth with his Teachers, while my counselor Marty and I worked the RS Fish Pond.  I had my camera the whole time, but since I was crazy busy all night, I didn't get a chance to take many photos.  The costumes were awesome!  My favorite was a little tiny boy who was dressed as "Risky Business" in just his socks and a white button down shirt.  Not sure if he had on his tighty whities or just a diaper though, ha ha!  Wes dressed as Sharknado 2 and I went as Maleficent.  We managed to snap a few pics at the end.  I even found another Maleficent!  I'm jealous of her wings!

October Ski

Wes went with the Ulriches (well, Brian and Tiffany) on their boat out to Cutler for a late season waterski.  They had the whole place to themselves, and it looked beautiful!  If a little cool for my tastes.  Glad they could have a good time!
