T H I R T Y Y E A R S !

We are celebrating 30 years of marriage today! What a happy 30 years it has been. We are proud of the family we've created, the love and peace we feel in our home, and the adventures we've had together. We made a good decision all those years ago. We celebrated at Le Nonne on Friday night with a delicious dinner. Wes had previously brought me a dozen long stemmed roses and a cute card, but at dinner he whipped out some beautiful pearl earrings! He asked me "did you ever look up what the 30th anniversary gift is?" I said "no" and he said "well I did!" and pulled out this box! It was very sweet and romantic and I just love him so much. I am a spoiled woman. Here are some fun photos of our younger years and a couple of our celebration.

Culture Night

Kori performed with Aotearoa for Culture Night 2019. This is a cool look on her. Their performance was awesome and she had a great time!

When I posted a couple of these pictures on Instagram, one of my old drill team friends reminded me of these outfits from my senior year. We may not be as classy as New Zealand, but we were winners back in the day. And you have to admit, it's kinda similar. I wish I had a better photo of these costumes. I can hardly tell who any of us are! I'm the one in the middle row, second from left.

Bye Bye Tonsils

Livi got her tonsils out on Monday. She was such a good girl through the whole thing. She had been so excited to eat lots of ice cream and popsicles! She did really well, the surgery went great and she has been healing up and eating and drinking. Yay! Hopefully she'll continue to sail through until she's completely healed up. Ivy spent the night Sunday night and stayed at our house until Livi was all done. We had a blast with some one on one Ivy time. She just runs all over the house and mimics whatever we say. We heard her say lots of spontaneous words too. At one point I caught her standing in front of the couch, looking up at the nutcrackers and saying "ya ya ya ya ya ya..." It was super cute.

Spring Break

We had a blast with Clint home for his Spring Break. Clint and I skied on Monday. We didn't realize that it was Beaver's 80th birthday party and they were selling day passes for only 8 bucks! It was super crowded, but it was a gorgeous sunny day. For only 60 bucks, we rented Clint some skis, got our day passes and had lunch too! What a deal! That night, Wes and I went to see Jake Shimabukuro, ukulele master extraordinaire, and he was amazing! Tuesday we went to see the grandparents who were happy to see Clint. We took Grandma out to lunch for her birthday. Thursday Clint and Wes went snowmobiling. Wes and I had previously gone to a fundraiser dinner where a one day, two snowmobile rental package was auctioned off and Wes won it for only 50 dollars! We couldn't believe no one else even bid on it. But lucky for Clint and Wes who had a really fun day. Friday we went down to see Colton's family and went out to dinner at Black Bear Diner, yum. We capped off our week with some hatchet throwing on Saturday. Who knew we'd be so good at it? It was a blast. Thanks Clint for spending your week off with your family. We love you!
