Sawmill Hike

I got up at zero dark thirty to meet Ranae at the Sawmill hike to see the beavers. It was early, but it was worth it! We saw 4 or 5 beavers, just swimming around, their whole flat bodies visible on the surface of the water. They didn't even seem bothered that we were there. The hike was beautiful that early in the morning and we didn't see another soul. Gorgeous!

Captain America

Clint lost his perm and his 80s stache! His barber told him he looked like Captain America.  He surprised us when he moved up to the lake a little earlier than we thought. Bye bye Caspers! He's here for a couple of weeks before he heads back to SUU. We love the new look Clint! We're excited to have him here for a bit.

Memory Quilt

Wes had a bunch of his old t-shirts made into a quilt. Our old neighbor, Janet Major took on the project and it is amazing! She is super talented. She pieced all the shirts, and then she put such creativity into the stitching for each square. The stitching includes fish, mountains, rocks, trees, rock formations, Napoleon Dynamite, and even Wes waterskiing. The backing is flannel and cozy. This is such a treasure! We love it!

Friends

Some of my friends drove up to help me celebrate my birthday. We had so much fun! We played some pickle ball, ate at Ruca's and played in the water. Thanks everyone! I really appreciate you all making the effort to drive up and see me.

TFR 2021 - Saturday

Awww... all good things come to an end. Saturday we played at the beach in the morning, walked through Raspberry Days, drove down for the Mikesell reception in the late afternoon, and most of us came back up for the lighted boat parade. Best week of the year! Thanks family for an epic vacay! Love you all so much!!

TFR 2021 - Friday

Friday morning we got up and headed to the Adventure Park! We loved it. The swings were the favorite for the big kids, the tubes and bungee tramp were the favorites for the littles. Later that evening, we painted faces, crafted jewelry (Ivy made a bracelet for Clint :) and did some nice face masks. The masks made the girls laugh and laugh!
