Welcome To The Sixties!

60 years of adventure! Wes really knows how to live life and have fun. We celebrated the milestone quietly at home with presents (an e-bike from all of us) and cake and facetiming with Kori and Colton's family. We are so grateful for our Padre Man. Happy Birthday, we love you!

It's A Boy!!

Shelby Kent Thompson 12/27/22 6 lb 14 oz 19 in of cuteness! Best Christmas gift ever! Shelby made his arrival two days after Christmas. The Mayes family were tickled as he was born on Bill's birthday. I was imagining Bill and all the Great Grandparents and others kissing him goodbye and sending him to us. Sweet little boy, fresh from heaven. We now have 4 generations of Kents, Great Grandpa Kent, Pop Pop Wesley Kent, Daddy Colton Kent and new little Shelby Kent. We love his name as Shelby is a great car name too! We have been loving all the photos and videos and facetiming from Colton. They decided to just have these first few days together as a new family of 6 before all the visitors start descending. We will be excited to meet Shelby when they are ready for us. Karlee is feeling good, Shelby is doing great, and the kids are loving their new little brother. Welcome to the world, little Shelby! We love you so much!

Christmas Day

We woke up to a cute little visitor out our window. We opened our stockings, ate breakfast and then headed to church where we had a wonderful musical Christmas program. After church, we dug in to the gifts. We were a little embarrassed by how many presents there were for only the three of us! Wes got a rockcrawler Scout. Clint had way too much fun shopping for us as many of the gifts were from him. Santa brought Jaws the game which is so fun. We had a blast. Colton sent us photos of their Christmas morning and we facetimed with Kori to hear about her and Kent's day. Clint cooked some yummy Babish chicken parm sandwiches for Christmas dinner. A friend brought us the fixings for an apple pie. Breonna came to visit the day after Christmas, and we spent the week playing games, watching movies, doing our new puzzles, and skiing. It's been a really nice holiday! So grateful for our Savior and his example!
