Colton's birthday celebration was a bit of a bummer for us this year. We thought we'd see him and take him out to eat after we returned from Oregon, but then Covid happened and things got ruined. Luckily I had dropped off his gift earlier. We facetimed him from Kori's apartment and had him open his gift. We gave him a gift card to spend at the Utah Motor Sports Park. We were really excited about it so we hope he loves it. We love you Colton! We're excited about your new job. We are so proud of you and think you're the bestest daddy ever! Next year we'll have to celebrate big. Happy 31 to our Number One!

Frozen Lake
The lake hasn't frozen over for a few years, so it's been exciting to see it this year. We skied out onto it yesterday. There were lots of ice fishermen out there. We even saw two swans out resting on the lake! The lake makes some ominous noises as it cracks and expands, but it is really cool!
Oregon Coast
After saying goodbye to Kori, Wes and I headed to the coast for a couple of days. We had beautiful weather and it's a great time to go because there are no crowds! We had ice cream at the Tillamook visitor center, took a beautiful hike Kori had told us about, saw the Yaquina head lighthouse, walked along a few beaches, ate at Mo's, saw lots of seals, walked on some rocks and logs, marveled at the beauty around us, explored some tide pools and stayed in a swanky hotel on the beach. We headed home a different direction. We miss Kori like crazy, but excited for her new adventures! We foresee lots more trips to Oregon in our future.
