Blessing day for our sweet Shelby. His daddy blessed him with a strong body, a sharp mind, and to be able to feel the love of our Savior and Heavenly Father. Colton did a beautiful job, and we had a nice time celebrating our new grandson with Colton's family and the Ulriches. Such a nice day.
"A geologist can't resist a hole in the ground." Wes went on a fun dirt bike ride to Lakeside where they found a cool mine.
I've been saying all week "I just want to go for a walk!" There has been no place to walk until now. The city cleared out the bike path and we were able to go for a walk! This shows how the piles look along the highway. Where is the lamb??
It's a couple of days away from Spring and this is how it's looking in the neighborhood. Our town has been having sandbagging parties because we're worried about flooding. So far so good at our house. We've had a few days of slow melt. We need a bunch more of those. If it melts too fast, Garden City could be in trouble.
We took Livi shopping for her birthday and she chose this cute denim jacket and some pajamas for Samantha! We also had fun looking at all the chickens for Easter. We ate a Zupa and walked around a pet store too. Such a fun day!
The snow levels continue to climb. Our piles are huge. We really don't know where to put it anymore. Now that it's March, we keep thinking it will warm up and start to melt, but it just keeps coming. Hooray for our lake!
Livi was baptized on Saturday and confirmed by her daddy. She looked so pretty in her Grammy's baptism dress and later her very own white dress. I did the Holy Ghost talk and PopPop stood in the confirmation circle. We were impressed that Olivia was the only one getting baptized at this time and that it was at her own church. It felt much more intimate and special. We are so proud of Livi and this decision to be baptized! She is surrounded by so much love.
