Colton and Karlee and kids came up for Sunday dinner and we celebrated Wes's birthday early with them. They had a fun time for New Year's too! Russ and Tia and Zach and Quinn spent a few days at the condo over the New Year. We had fun with them sledding and eating and going to the Christmas tree burning. Happy Birthday Pop Pop! It's so nice that the whole world throws a party on your birthday!
This hat loving kid turned two! He had a hat party, lots of gifts, and ice cream for his birthday. Shelby you are still so sweet and snuggly. You are talking more and gave us the sweetest "thank yous" at your party. We love you so much!
Wow, Santa really delivered at our house! We couldn't believe there were so many presents under the tree for only two people! We enjoyed a yummy chile relleno casserole with bacon and fruit and Mrs. Bush's before seeing what was under the tree. We talked to the kids and the extended family. We spent the day playing with our new gifts and watching The Best Christmas Pageant Ever that evening. It's been a really lovely Thompson Christmas!
We were all in different places this Christmas, but we all made the most of it. Clint and Breonna had a nice charcuterie lunch before heading to Breonna's dad's house. Kori and Kent played some Settlers and celebrated with the Fatauas. Colton and Karlee and kids were home making sugar cookies and enjoying new jammies. Wes and I made sugar cookies and had a yummy dinner of carne asada tacos. The talent portion of our Christmas Eve was painting portraits of each other which was funny and fun! We also got some new jammies!
