We helped with Winterfest last weekend. On Friday we were up at the rest stop helping with x country skis and snowshoes. On Saturday we were at the marina helping register people for the polar plunge and cardboard regatta. Wes walked down to the dock and the devil on his shoulder said "you should jump in" but he quickly regained his senses and walked away, ha ha! The temps were brutal. It's been so cold. Everyone said this was the coldest Winterfest and also the least attendance. We still can't believe people pay money to jump in the icy water. There were literally ice chunks floating in the water! I would never do it, but it was really fun to watch. There was a mishap with the sweatshirts this year. Evidently several people signed off on them and no one caught that they said 2024... oops! Most everyone just rolled with it. We told them we're a little slow here at Bear Lake. :)
