We were honored to attend and participate in Ivy's Baptism Day! She looked so cute in her Grammy's baptism dress as well as her cozy new white dress. She said she felt so good after she came out of the font. We celebrated after at Colton and Karlee's house with a yummy lunch. Congratulations Ivy! We are super proud of you!
Clint and Breonna visited after Thanksgiving and we did some gingerbread houses. We entered them in the library contest again. Mine was a hobbit hole and it was really fun to make! Breonna did an all pastel house. Clint had a graham cracker roof and some cool piping details. I tried glass windows this year and they turned out really cute!
We decorated our little tree and we also went to the town tree lighting. Feels like Christmas time!
Wes and I had our own little Thanksgiving for two this year and we had so much fun! We ate a delicious meal, and then we went to Fish Haven Canyon and cut down our Christmas tree, and then we started Stranger Things season 5! We missed all the kids, but knew that they were well fed where they were at. We haven't had any snow yet, and it's been relatively warm. It's been a really pretty fall. I think things are about to change though. Cold and snow on the horizon next week.
Wes and I caught the Giving Machine when we were in Pocatello. The Pocatello one was so cool! It was out at this big complex that was all lit up and there was entertainment there and everything. We bought some shoes and a goat.
Happy number 8 to our smart and spunky Ivy! Ivy had a Ravenclaw Harry Potter themed birthday complete with a delicious raspberry topped chocolate cake, yum! We took her to lunch at Zupa's and shopping at Locals where she perused all the Harry Potter stuff before deciding on this cute dog.
Mother Nature sure put on a show! We were finally able to see the Northern Lights here in Garden City and they were pretty spectacular! These pics are from down on the beach.
Halloween day started with teaching water aerobics. We all wore crazy hats. Wes and I did a KOA cabin again with the Lasswells. We gave out sauces to go with our costumes. People loved it! They loved our costumes, they loved that we gave out sauce. A lot of people asked us if we really worked at Chick fil A or if we were there representing Chick fil A, ha ha! Some of the kids turned their noses up at the sauces, but most of them liked it. Clint dressed up for his work Halloween party as "General Ledger." Kori and Kent were the Fairy Godmother and Tylenol. The grandkids carved pumpkins and went trick or treating. Livi trick or treated with her friends who were all dressed up like librarians.
