We had an amazing trip to the British Virgin Islands with our friends the Meyers and the Redds. We chartered a 47 foot mono hull and sailed all around the islands. Dave Meyers was our captain and Laurie his first mate. This is their 7th time in the BVI and their favorite place to sail. We loved everything! We enjoyed the sailing, it was pretty exciting. We had fun being part of the crew and helping out. Wes got to scuba for the first time and he also caught a couple of ocean fish. One of the fish had been mostly eaten before he caught it, the other one we grilled up and ate and it was the yummiest thing we ate the whole 2 weeks! Though all of the food we had was good. The water down there is incredible, all the different colors. It looked like Bear Lake but it was 80 degrees! We snorkeled a little bit. We mostly stayed on the water and in the ports, but a couple of islands we did a little touring. On Virgin Gorda we visited The Baths which are a bunch of cool giant rock formations along the coastline. On Anegada we rented scooters and rode around the island. That was my personal favorite island and the water there was mint green, so gorgeous! Thank you Meyers for inviting us on this trip of a lifetime!
