50 Years Together
Happy 50th Anniversary, Grandpa Mike and Grandma Pauline! We had a wonderful day of celebration. Curt and Kathy came from Kansas and we all went to the Logan temple where Mike and Pauline were married 50 years ago. The adults did a session, while the kids did baptisms. We went to dinner and then had cake and presents at our house. Kori took some darling photos. Here are a few of my favorites along with some memorable quotes that we overheard throughout the day:
Grandma - (gesturing to her kids and grandkids) "This is what we have gotten in 50 years."
Kori - "We need some kissing pictures."
Grandpa - "You're kidding me, right?"
Grandpa - "Your mother doesn't look any different than she did 50 years ago the day we were married."
Grandma - "I feel like a bride all over again!"
Grandpa - "We ate at the Bluebird after our wedding."
Grandma - "It still looks about the same."
Thank you for the values you teach, the examples you set, and the love that you show us every day. We are so glad we could celebrate this milestone with you!
