Little things I love about my house!
I love this wicker rocker. It has been in the Thompson family for more than 100 years, and I feel privileged to have it in my living room. It is super comfy to curl up in!
My very talented mother-in-law passed away about 14 years ago. She helped me paint this chicken napkin holder when I was first married. It was fun to craft with her, and this reminds me of her every day.
My friend Skye painted these fish, and they make me smile every day. They are so joyful, and I love the caption which reads "Life is a daring adventure...or nothing!"
I was going to say I love the drawer pulls in my kitchen, but I have to include my entire kitchen island. I love everything about it, the pulls, the color, the distressing, the butcher block top, the toe kicks, and the garbage cans that hide inside!
My babies! I love seeing these photos as I walk down the hall. My how time flies! Aren't they cute?
Here is another 100 plus year old Thompson antique that I feel lucky to have. It is a beautiful dresser that sits in my bedroom. I am amazed at the woodwork on this thing!
Of all the American Girl stuff and other souvenirs I hauled home or had sent home from NYC, this is the one I still have displayed. It is just a simple plate, but I love it, and I have it in my kitchen because after that trip I wanted to copy Sheri!!
It is hard for me to find bedspreads that I like on my bed, because a lot of bedding is too feminine or frou-frou for me. Or I like the styles in the kids section better! This one fits the bill just right for me, plus it is soft and warm!
I love having my nutcrackers on display all the time. Most of them were gifts from my Aunt JuJu. This is my bird collection. They are not seen as much as the others, because they hang out with me in my craft room.
I love my front porch. It is my favorite place to sit and read a book, or snuggle with my honey on warm summer evenings!

What a cute post. I might have to copy you. I love all the things you love!
Love your stuff! I still display my little NYC plates too. We so need to go back and visit, remember the stick of gum I gave you on the subway, I still laugh!
