Nightstand Project

I'm in the middle of a few projects around my house, and this is the first one completed.  I can't believe I am actually getting stuff like this done in the summertime, but yay!  This is an old nightstand that Wes actually made in shop class back in the day.  Over the years it has been carved in, drawn on, and basically abused.  It needed a new life.  This is a "before" shot after it had been sanded down a little bit:

And here's the finished product, after some primer, paint, lots of distressing and a coat of glaze.  I think it's quite cute.  We are re-doing Kori's room right now, and she'll get the nightstand.
