H15tory In The Making - Graduation 2015

And so it ends...

I may or may not have teared up a couple of times during the ceremony.

This little sweetie was such a good girl for not sleeping or eating this afternoon!  Silly baby.

Grandpa drove down but stayed at our house.  Grandma and Aunt Michelle joined us at the Spectrum.  Sorry Aunt Michelle, how did we not get you in the pictures?

Of course, the traditional sibling pose:

We went back to our house for dinner, cake, and presents from some really generous friends and family.  Thank you all so much for your support of our graduate!

"I'd like to thank the Academy..."  Our neighbor, Jeff, gave us this awesome engraved statue!

Cake cred goes to Hillary's Happy Cakes.  It was as yummy as it was adorable!

Although it's no secret to anyone who knows me that I've struggled with this last year of school, I'm just really proud of Clint, his accomplishments, and the kind young man that he has become.  It's been a very nice day.  I'm proud of all of my kids and I hope they'll still need me now that they're all grown ups!  Love you all!

Memorial Day

We got the new generation started on the Memorial Day traditions.  Livi got to go visit all the grave sites.  She was such a good girl.  Grandma and the Aunts couldn't come down on Sunday, but the rest of us enjoyed a hamburger cookout and a little walk through the cemetery.  Monday morning we met the Nash sisters in Franklin and continued our traditional visits and lunch at Big J's!  Yum!

NHS Induction Ceremony

It was our last National Honor Society Induction night.  Clint has been on the Council this past year, so he was part of the program, emceeing part of the evening, even telling a few jokes to lighten things up.  We're busy right now with all of these last events before graduation.  It's bittersweet to say the least.  We're super proud of you Clint!

Blessing Day

It was the best and most appropriate Mother's Day ever!  Colton blessed his little Olivia Michelle, and we enjoyed a day full of family and fun.  Livi looked beautiful in her white dress.  She wore some hand made beautiful crocheted booties, this gorgeous hand crocheted blanket, and she also wore her Great Grandpa Mike's baby ring.

She was a little fussy and wouldn't go to sleep.  Her parents were worried.  But she did just fine and her daddy gave her a beautiful blessing.  We are so proud of him and all of the Priesthood holders that were able to join him in the circle.  After the meeting, we went to the Smithfield Senior Citizen's Center to enjoy a lunch of pasta bar, salads, breadsticks and cupcakes.  Yum!  Thank you everyone who traveled to be there with us!
I know everyone loves when I snap pics while they are eating and they're trying to smile with a mouth full of food.  Sorry!  But I did get at least one pic of everyone who was there.  So thank you!

Cutest mommy!  We're so proud of her!

The kids corral.

Poor Great Grandma got left with a fussy baby.  I love this picture though.  :)

Karlee's side of the family.

Colton's side.  Aunt JuJu and Marie and Bill left before we thought to take pictures.  Sorry!  Glad they were there though.
