Thompson Family Kitchen Guide

Here are just a few rules from our kitchen:

1. If you're going to buy spaghetti sauce, buy the Paul Newman brand only.

2. Cinnamon and vanilla in the french toast batter makes it extra delicious.

3. Why do I have to wait for the cookie if I'd rather eat the dough?

4. You can never have too many bowls.

5. Milk will spill.  And syrup.  And grape juice.  And salad dressing.  It cleans up.

6. Separate bowls for milk and cereal is not such a bad idea.

7. Clean up as you go please.

8. The dirtier the recipe card, the better the recipe.

9. If you buy something for a particular recipe, hide it before someone eats it.

10. Old fashioned oats for no bake cookies, quick oats for chocolate chip cookies.

11. Home made syrup is far superior.

12. Two words.  Real Butter.

13. Blue is not a color for frosting.

14. Graham cracker cookies taste best with pink frosting.

15. A little cream cheese is Alfredo Sauce's secret weapon.

16. Banana peels go in the outside garbage.
