We arrived at the airport with time to spare, too much according to Padre Man, ha ha. There were lots of other missionary families there waiting. I thought we looked great in our t-shirts. It's fun to see what other families come up with. After a while, this airport employee came over and asked for all the missionary moms to go up by the escalator. He told us we could wait there in front of everyone else and hug our missionaries first. I thought that was so sweet. All of the other missionaries came home and we were still waiting for Kori!
Still waiting...
And finally... there she is!!
BEST HUG EVER!!!
It felt like heaven to have our whole family together, such a joyous reunion!! Kori looked so beautiful! We took everyone to Zupa's for lunch and spent a little time at Karlton's house, and then we were on our way home!
Some of our friends and neighbors had written some more chalk messages on our porch and put up some cute posters for Kori! We went to President Oliverson's house to get her released and we finished out the night with Moana. Welcome Home Kori McKenna! We love you and are so proud of you for your excellent service. Brazil is a lucky place to have had you for the last 18 months. We are so happy to have you home!
