Our little Aubrey man turned 2 on the 22nd in the year 2022! We had a little celebration with all of the Ulrich family. Those cousins and sisters could hardly contain themselves when Aubrey would s l o w l y pull tiny pieces of gift wrap off his presents. They had to be told "move back," "give him some room," "let him open his own presents." It was pretty cute. Karlee made the cutest tractor cake, and it was super delicious too! We love you so much Aubrey! You are just the cutest little guy with the most adorable grin. We love it when you give us hugs and snuggles! We hope you have a wonderful year!

More Skiing
We've been doing a lot of cross country skiing this year. It feels so good to get out in the fresh air and sunshine in the winter, and we are so lucky to be able to step outside our house and start skiing. I even had a few friends come up one day to ski/snowshoe with me!

Sun
We've had several days of socked in fog. Most days it burns off by afternoon, but other days we stay socked in. It doesn't take a very long drive to find the sun though! We could use some fresh snow, but at least this snow was soft and nice.

Crusty Stuff
We've been enjoying getting out and cross country skiing nearly every day. Today was pretty crusty after about 18 new inches of snow this past week, and then the temperatures warming up and making it all icy. But we were happy to see the sun.
Hamilton
"I am the A-L-E-X-A-N-D-E-R we are meant to be!" Kori and I started the year out right by going to see Hamilton! We were so lucky to get tickets. SLC had kept it really quiet that Hamilton was coming and it was just a fluke that we even found out. Kori texted me one morning and I immediately got on to see if I could get tickets. I kept looking and looking and it was all sold out. Finally I found two seats together, I didn't even know where they were, I just thought I'd better grab them. Turns out we had the best seats in the house! We were in the first tier box. We had a perfect view of the stage. We had only a couple of other people around us. No one in front of us, no one behind. We had comfy chairs that we could move wherever we wanted. It was awesome. And the show! Wow! We were #satisfied It was amazing! Probably my new favorite thing I've ever seen onstage. We loved every second, and I cried through the whole thing. The actors were all extremely talented, and it was so fun to see all of the staging and dancing. We were very impressed. I wish we could go again! We stayed that night in a hotel in downtown SLC so we could just walk to the show. I was really glad we got a hotel since it was a storm that day, and Bear Lake was getting especially pounded. Before the show we went to an Italian restaurant. The menu looked good on the website, but when we got there, there was not a soul there, which is never a good sign. The decor was ultra gaudy and cheesy, including this strange pope head in a box on one of the tables. They only served family style, so our portions were huge, but tasty. When they brought our dessert, it was in a giant cocktail glass! We laughed so hard about it all night! We had so much fun!!
