Hamilton

"I am the A-L-E-X-A-N-D-E-R we are meant to be!" Kori and I started the year out right by going to see Hamilton! We were so lucky to get tickets. SLC had kept it really quiet that Hamilton was coming and it was just a fluke that we even found out. Kori texted me one morning and I immediately got on to see if I could get tickets. I kept looking and looking and it was all sold out. Finally I found two seats together, I didn't even know where they were, I just thought I'd better grab them. Turns out we had the best seats in the house! We were in the first tier box. We had a perfect view of the stage. We had only a couple of other people around us. No one in front of us, no one behind. We had comfy chairs that we could move wherever we wanted. It was awesome. And the show! Wow! We were #satisfied It was amazing! Probably my new favorite thing I've ever seen onstage. We loved every second, and I cried through the whole thing. The actors were all extremely talented, and it was so fun to see all of the staging and dancing. We were very impressed. I wish we could go again! We stayed that night in a hotel in downtown SLC so we could just walk to the show. I was really glad we got a hotel since it was a storm that day, and Bear Lake was getting especially pounded. Before the show we went to an Italian restaurant. The menu looked good on the website, but when we got there, there was not a soul there, which is never a good sign. The decor was ultra gaudy and cheesy, including this strange pope head in a box on one of the tables. They only served family style, so our portions were huge, but tasty. When they brought our dessert, it was in a giant cocktail glass! We laughed so hard about it all night! We had so much fun!!
