Ranae and I found the Hobbit Caves in Logan Canyon. How have I hiked Logan Canyon all these years and never knew that these were here? They were delightful. And such a beautiful place just off the highway at Right Hand Fork. After we perused around the caves we drove up to the trailhead and hiked for a couple more hours. Thanks Ranae for being my best hiking buddy all these years! It's so fun that we still have more to discover!

Montpelier Reservoir
Wes and I had a quick overnighter at Montpelier Reservoir. It's the first time we've ever been there. The next day I left and Wes's YM group arrived. They spent another day fishing and had a great time. Pretty place!
Flood
It's never fun when you have a flood. And it's amazing how much damage a little water can do. Luckily we were home when it started raining in our kitchen and we were able to shut off the water pretty quickly. Alpine came the next day and it was only a few weeks before we had everything put back together. They did a great job and were very good to work with. Dang water heater expansion tank developed a little teeny hole. We felt so lucky that it didn't cause more damage than it did.
New Neighbors
We've seen three new deer this year. There's one momma with one baby and this momma with two babies. They sure are cute.
Happy 250 America!
Our 4th of July was quiet but fun. Wes bought a new Honda Trail 90 and got his pic with the neighbor's VW Bug Van. Groovy! We grilled steaks and headed to Heritage Park for the Starship concert. That's a pretty big name for our tiny town. And the biggest crowd we've ever seen!
Geologic Feature
There is a sign in Logan Canyon that says Geologic Feature that Wes has coveted for a long time. I searched for a long time to find one that is similar. I hope he likes it!

Iceland
Clint and Breonna had a fabulous trip to Iceland. They loved it! They sent us some geology photos and brought us some fun treats!
