Spring Break Trip

 We visited our friends the Hislops, who are serving their mission at Bluff Fort. The fort history is really interesting. Bluff is where the Hole in the Rock pioneers ended up. We had a beautiful camp site just outside of Bluff, right on the river. We saw lots of other things in the area, including San Juan hill, a difficult trail that the Hole in the Rock families had to go up, Sleeping Ute Mountain, Hovenweep, Natural Bridge, Five Kivas, Comb Wash, House on Fire, Butler Wash, Goosenecks, Four Corners, Mesa Verde, lots of ancient dwellings and petroglyphs, and we even saw a mama bear with some cubs at Mesa Verde. After exploring the Bluff area, we drove over to Moab and met our family camp friends for some more camping days. Such a fun trip!

Happy Birthday Kori!

 We didn't get to see Kori for her birthday, but we talked to her and we had all our friends make videos to send to her all day. She was surprised and delighted that so many people were wishing her a happy birthday. We love you Kori! We hope this next year is a fantastic one!

Happy Birthday Olivia!

 This girl is growing up! She still loves art, she's learning to crochet, she's smart, and she loves reading, especially Harry Potter right now. Happy Birthday sweet Olivia! We love you! She didn't get a letter from Hogwarts, but she did get a Hagrid cake for breakfast! We all partied the evening of her birthday. A couple of days later Pop Pop and I took her to lunch at The Habit, and shopping at Locals where she chose a pretty journal and two pairs of earrings. So fun!
