It's A Candy Cane Christmas...

...sweet as it can be!  Gingerbread houses!  One of our favorite traditions!!

Clint made up his own pattern this year.  He wanted a castle.  Turned out pretty good!

Creative Karlton worked on one large house together.

Kori got really crafty this year with her Scandinavian design.

Think we have enough candy???

Wes tried the Santa sleigh pattern.

Kori's finished design, complete with swedish fish.

Clint's Christmas castle had a drawbridge and a moat.

Wes filled his Santa sleigh with candy and chocolate coins.

Karlton's colorful house.

Mom's finished product.

O Little Town Of Bethlehem

We had a "fisherman's" version of Bethlehem Night this year because Kori wanted Clam Chowder as soon as she came home!  And brownies!

I'll Be Home For Christmas

Kori's home!  She got home early on Dec 15th.  Cider would not leave her alone!  We're so excited to have her here for a few weeks!!!

These cuties were happy to see Kori too.  Looks like they're ready to go back with her!!!

We Are Thankful

Thanksgiving weekend was a little quiet this year.  Kori was in Hawaii.  Grandpa was still in assisted living after his accident, so he and Grandma couldn't come down.  Aunt Michelle made it for Thanksgiving day!  Colton and Karlee joined us for our turkey dinner, and then on Saturday night we tried our first ever Saturday After Thanksgiving Pizza And Movie Party with Pizza Plus, Sharknado and hot tubbing!  We snapped a few pics of the festivities:
Clint and I made Apple Pies!

Mmmmm.... pie dough cookies!

Best pie ever.  And I for one, ate way too much of it.  Yum!

Kitty soaked up some sunshine.  Notice the lack of snow.

Clint did a bang up job of carving the turkey!

Yummy slush.

I missed out on getting a picture of us all at dinner.  I guess I was too concentrated on eating!  So I got a shot of us playing games Thanksgiving night.

Cider lay there like a slug.

Mmmmm... leftovers.

Friday and Saturday we worked on Christmas decorations.  The nutcrackers got their annual bath.  Don't they look handsome?

We couldn't get Cider to pose with us.

My kind of tree.  Skinny, sparse, not beautifully groomed.  Charlie Brown-esque.  Our modge podge of decorations. Perfect!

Santa Kitty was not amused.

Sadie Hawkins Dance

Clint had a great time at Sadie Hawkins over the weekend.  His cute date is Luci and she's tiny!!  They played games and had a Nerf war during the afternoon, then they grilled hamburgers and went to the dance.  The girls made the T-shirts.  The couples all had different colors of T-shirts and bandannas.  I love how they fashioned the boy bandannas into bow ties!  Can't wait to see the group photos!

Halloween Night

Halloween night brought more pumpkins and trick or treaters!  Clint spent the afternoon creating another awesome pumpkin.  He made another gaming dude, this one from Assassin's Creed.

We had lots of trick or treaters, including this cute couple dressed as Shaggy and Velma!  "You meddlin' kids!"  They brought over Karlee's darling nieces who were dressed as princesses.  Wes and I hit the trick or treat circuit and visited a few neighbors, including a really fun block party!  It was a fun night!
