Girls Camp 2017, another wonderful week with some amazing young women! I love my calling as camp director so much! This year we were pirates, we sought for treasure, both worldly and spiritual treasure. We played lots of games, crafted a little, got wet in the creek, did some service, shared our talents, sang songs and ate lots of yummy food! Sadly, I had to leave a day early due to Michelle's passing, but that was where I needed to be. The other incredible leaders just took right over, no big deal. I heard that the speakers were excellent and the testimonies were sweet. What more could you ask for at Girls Camp? Thank you everyone for a fun time, and for making me feel loved on a tough day.

And The Goodbye Makes The Journey Harder Still
Aunt Michelle lost her battle with cancer on July 13. We are inspired by her faith and will to fight right up until the very end. Wes was with her as she passed peacefully in her sleep. She was still bossing him around the night before. She was his first friend, camping buddy, and die hard waterskiing partner. We are grateful for our knowledge of the plan of salvation, that families can be together forever. We are happy that her body is free from pain, and the thought of the reunions on the other side give us peace. We know you'll be our guardian angel now. You always found the glassy water, Michelle, we love you! Until we meet again...
