Antelope Island

Wes had Veteran's Day off, so we decided to go trippin' down to Antelope Island. Wes hadn't been there since he was a kid. It was a bit chilly, but we had a great time hiking around, visiting the ranch and the visitor's center. We saw antelope, buffalo, and a cute porcupine crossing the road. We went out for a late lunch and stopped by to see Colton and Karlee and the girls on the way home. What a fun day!

Update From Hawaii

Kori sent me these pictures the other day and they're too pretty not to post. She is calling herself a recovering A student, trying to spend more time at the beach. Since she only has a few more months to live a block from the ocean, she better do just that! We miss her and are so excited to have her home for Christmas!

This Is Halloween

A Very Thompson Halloween 2018! We were apart, but we all had a fun time. Clint dressed up like Marty McFly and went to a couple of college Halloween parties. Kori dressed up like Sia and had a party with her roommates. Karlton and the girls dressed up like Calvin and Hobbes (Colton and Ivy) and pirate and mermaid (Karlee and Livi.) They did some limited trick or treating and watched Coco. I went down to Ogden on Halloween day, took the girls to lunch and partied at the Treehouse Museum. We had lots of fun, they had pumpkin decorating and lots of fun games. It wasn't even crowded, we decided that is the best place to be on Halloween day. Wes dressed up like Wiley Barbera, employee of the year at Bio-West. I dressed up like a 50's waitress. We had a ward Halloween Carnival the night before Halloween which was super successful. I was in charge of decorations and it turned out really cute. Wes's work friends LOVED his costume! We invited a bunch of our friends to call Bio-West all day on Halloween and ask for Wiley Barbera. Wes said the phone would ring, Jen would answer it, and then she'd just laugh and laugh. I'm glad he can bring the fun to work, ha ha! On Halloween night, we walked around the neighborhood and visited a few of our neighbors. We didn't have very many trick or treaters. We had lots of candy left over. It was kind of a cold night.

Happy Birthday Karlee!

She was disappointed that we couldn't celebrate with Stranger Things this year, but she still had a great birthday. We'll have to have a half birthday Stranger Things party next summer. We all went down to Layton and celebrated with stir fry dinner, pound cake with berries dessert, presents and lots of fun. We love you Karlee! Happy 26!!
