Survival Of The Fittest

 We took the kids to see the salmon jumping up the river. It was a beautiful day for an adventure. The girls liked the fish, but Ivy was more impressed with the sand, and Livi liked running through the bushes. We love being with our grand kiddos!

Botanical Garden

 I had the cutest tour guides through the Ogden Botanical Gardens! It was a hot day, but beautiful, and we loved walking through all the gorgeous flowers and plants. We got some Chick-fil-A afterward and ate lunch before I had to head home. Such a fun time!

 Kori and I had a great hike at Wayne's Loop! She was dazzled by all the ferns!

Storm Of The Century

Smithfield had a crazy cloudburst and hail storm the other day. It only lasted about 20 minutes, but it was an intense 20 minutes! We could hear ongoing thunder almost the whole time, which was eerie. The rain was coming down faster than I've ever seen it, and I've never seen that much hail in that short a time either. Every town around us was dry too. Crazy.  A lot of our neighbors had water in their basements, but luckily we were fine. Just a lot of debris in our rocks and a ton of leaves on the ground when it was over. And the hail that was left on the ground lasted quite a while. We made the news and everything. One inch of water was dropped in that short amount of time. Just wild!

Magical Fairyland Hike

Wayne's Loop in Mendon is a magical fairyland and it does not look like Utah, not to mention Utah the end of July! This was an incredibly aweesome hike with incredible ladies!
