She is three! Due to yucky Covid restrictions, we had a drive by birthday. We were able to visit in the front yard for a bit, and then we all watched on Zoom as Ivy opened her gifts and blew out her candles. It wasn't as good as all being together, but at least it was something. Ivy, you are such a sweetheart! We love your snuggles and how excited you get about everything! You have loved your little brother so hard this year, sometimes a little too hard. ;) You have grown and learned so much. You are our spunky little cutie with the big blue eyes. We love you so much! Welcome to 3!!

Cuties
Kori did a brand shoot for Karlee and the pictures turned out so great! They are mostly of Karlee for her business, but I stole some of these cuties. I love them so much!

Jardine Juniper
I've heard about the Jardine Juniper ever since we moved to Cache Valley all those years ago, but I've never seen it until now. Our little hiking group has been working up to this big hike and we finally did it! 10.6 miles, 2100 ft elevation gain, 4 hours 22 minutes of hiking time, 25,000 steps, and this gnarly tree at the end. The tree is estimated to be 1500 years old! It's 40 feet tall, totally gnarled and twisted and dead looking, until you see the new green growth at the top. It was a pretty cool destination hike. My legs are pooped!
I'm Too Much
It's a Thompson Halloween! It was a really fun week. Thursday Maple Springs had an outdoor party. Wes and I attended in our costumes, and even Great Grandpa got in on the action as the King of Maple Springs! Friday I partied costume style with my pickle ball group in the morning. Later, Wes and I handed out ghost cookies at Bio-West. Saturday the kids came up for Halloween games and lunch and we had so much fun with them. Wes got in a little motorcycle ride to Richard's Hollow. Clint's roommates dressed up together as Cobra Kai. Not too many trick or treaters this year, but we ended the night with a spooky movie version of Rebecca. Happy Halloween!
