Clint didn't get a fall break this year, so Wes and I took a weekend and went down to see him. It was a quick down and back, but so so good to see Clint! On Saturday we hit Kolob Canyon and Cedar Breaks. There had been some fresh snow and it was a bit chilly, but such a gorgeous sunny day. So fun!
Wes enjoyed a geology field trip for a few days. They went to the core lab in SLC and then to Price and then to Roosevelt and a bunch of places in between.
We finally got our sprinkler system in! Wes and I spread out the topsoil, picked up rocks, picked up more rocks, spread some more soil, it seemed like a never ending job. But we were able to get some grass planted. Hopefully we'll still have enough warm days for it to germinate. We'll see what we get this fall. But it feels so good to finally be getting our yard in.
The colors this year are just spectacular! Wes got to ride up close and personal on a beautiful fall ride. He had a great time!
It's been like wildlife park up here. Wes caught a fox one morning right in our front yard. He has also seen some raccoons in broad daylight. Of course, the deer are still here, peeking in our windows. We've had three playful little bucks recently. They are so cute.
