Senior Pics

He's grown up so handsome!  Kori took these awesome senior pics of Clint last week at Bear Lake.  Even though it's almost the end of the year, I'm glad we waited until now to do pics because Clint has really grown up and changed a lot this year.  It makes me really sad that my youngest is about to graduate, but I'm also very proud of this kid and the things he has accomplished and the way he has gotten involved in high school, not to mention the smart, kind, and funny human being that he is.  Love you Clint!!

Prom Pics

Clint went to the Prom this year with his friend Moni and another couple.  Moni and Clint spent their day date creating their one of a kind, fashionable, duct tape formal wear.  Clint also borrowed the Norman's Mustang for the evening.  Wes and I were at Bear Lake for the day, so Clint totally made dinner and hosted everyone, which is awesome!  I wish we had been here to take more pics of the suit and dress, but we're glad for the pics that Moni snapped that night.  So fun!

Washington DC

Clint spent a week in DC with his We The People team, competing at Nationals and enjoying the sites!  None of us have ever been there before, so it was fun to hear all about it and see the pictures.  Clint had a great time.  We are grateful that he could have this opportunity.  His team didn't make top ten or win any of the region or unit awards, but they felt good about how they competed.  Sky View traditionally does well at Nationals, and they'll find out in a couple of weeks how they placed this year.  Here are some of the things Clint saw while he was there, starting with the Lincoln Memorial.

One of Clint's favorite things to see was the National Archives which houses the original Constitution:

Interestingly, Clint's group was at the Supreme Court the same day that the same sex hearings began.  They saw lots of protestors from both sides.  Clint said it was the most crowded place he had ever been!
