First Days With The Baby

Aubrey has been to our house and we've been to his house. We've been helping out a little bit with the girls while Karlee and Colton have been settling in to having three kiddos. The girls love their baby brother. He seems to be sleeping pretty well. Karlee is feeling as good as can be expected. We love this new baby so much! He is sooooooo handsome!!

Aubrey's Arrival

Aubrey Nash Thompson was born January 22 at about 3:00 in the morning. We weren't expecting him quite this soon, but at 8 lbs 6 oz it's a good thing he came a little early! He is perfect, Karlee is feeling good, and everyone is so excited!

Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful Christmas day! We woke up to a little bit of fresh snow. After opening our stockings and having a yummy breakfast, we went over to Grandpa Mike's to open presents with him. We had a really nice time with him, even though we were all missing Grandma Pauline. Grandpa has been telling people that his family backed up a truck to bring all of his presents, because he got so many! He was well taken care of this year. After seeing Grandpa, we came home to open our presents, which lasted until well into the afternoon. So fun. Colton's family came for a little visit, and we had a simple dinner of tacos which tasted so good. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Most of us spent Christmas Eve together. We went down to Colton's during the day, but Kori was sick and stayed home. Boo. We made cookies, played a lot and had a delicious ham dinner. When it was time to say goodbye to Colton's family, we headed home, opened our new jammies and watched The Lord of the Rings. We watched the whole thing this Christmas. We watched half an episode each night, we called it the 6 days of Christmas, ha ha! Fun new tradition though! Happy Christmas Eve!
