Christmas Preparations

 We are getting ready for the holidays!! We have a beautiful tree. We finally got a little snow and we've been having fun playing in it. We made our gingerbread houses. Unfortunately, right before gingerbread day, Wes tested positive for Covid. Then Michelle, Kori and Clint soon tested positive. So we did virtual gingerbread houses with Colton and Karlee and the kids. It wasn't as much fun, but at least it was something! Our Covid symptoms have been relatively mild, just like having a bad cold. Congestion, runny noses, body aches, sore throats, and we've been extra tired. But no fevers, no trouble breathing, and no loss of taste or smell. So we feel really lucky. We're going to have to do virtual Christmas Eve with everyone too, but we are hoping to all at least feel better by then. We plan to party hearty for New Year's!

Turkey Lurkey Time 2020

 It was a quiet Thanksgiving day, but a nice one. We visited with Grandma Mike through the window in the morning, and then we drove up to the lake. Since we were going to be traveling during the day, we opted to order everything from Lee's. Our dinner was delicious! Due to Covid restrictions, it was just the four of us. We talked to Colton's family and traded photos during the day. We spent the evening doing some virtual Settlers! Kori and Clint headed home on Friday, but Wes and I stayed the rest of the weekend.

Ivy The Birthday Girl

 She is three! Due to yucky Covid restrictions, we had a drive by birthday. We were able to visit in the front yard for a bit, and then we all watched on Zoom as Ivy opened her gifts and blew out her candles. It wasn't as good as all being together, but at least it was something. Ivy, you are such a sweetheart! We love your snuggles and how excited you get about everything! You have loved your little brother so hard this year, sometimes a little too hard. ;) You have grown and learned so much. You are our spunky little cutie with the big blue eyes. We love you so much! Welcome to 3!!

 Kori did a brand shoot for Karlee and the pictures turned out so great! They are mostly of Karlee for her business, but I stole some of these cuties. I love them so much!
