Thoughts For Today...

Outside my window... it is a dreary post-rain morning.

I am thinking... what a remarkable man Joseph F. Smith was, and I love that he spent so much time in Hawaii!

I am thankful for... excellent friendships with wonderful women who I count as my sisters.

I am wearing... it's a t-shirt and sweats day since I have to take the pets to the vet.

I am remembering... what I fixed for Memorial Day dinner last year so that I can do something different this year.

I am going... to go on a date with my hubby tomorrow!

From the kitchen... salmon for dinner tonight, the kids' favorite.

I am creating... a new message board for my front door.

I am hoping... that it will dry out enough to mow the crazy long lawn.

I am hearing... my heater, yes it is still kicking on in the middle of May.

Noticing... that I haven't done anything with my flowerbeds yet, I need to get on that.

Pondering these words... from Joseph F. Smith "There is no substitute for the home.  Its foundation is as ancient as the world, and its mission has been ordained of God from the earliest times."

I have just finished reading... Save Me by Lisa Scottoline, a fast paced read about an action hero Mom, I liked it.

Looking forward to... seeing all of my family at the baby blessing in a couple of weeks!

One of my favorite things... pretty plates and dishes to display in my glass cupboards.
