We lost our sweet, wonderful, kind, beautiful, patient, pretty much perfect Grandma Pauline on December 4th. She passed away peacefully while she was sleeping. We had such a great Thanksgiving Day with all of us together, and then the Sunday after Thanksgiving, she started to decline. Her Hospice nurses were wonderful, and they helped her feel comfortable. We were confident that she was content and not feeling any pain. We celebrated her life at a funeral service on December 14th. All of our family came and helped us. The flowers were spectacular and the memories were precious. I know I was the luckiest girl in the world to have such a sweet mom, and she loved her grandkids so much. We are grateful for the plan of salvation that gives us the knowledge that we can be together again. The Christmas season has been made even more special because of what our Savior has done for us to provide us with eternal life. We love you so much, until we meet again.
"Of all things of heaven and earth of which we bear testimony, none is so important as our witness that Jesus, the Christmas child, condescended to come to earth from the realms of His Eternal Father, here to work among men as healer and teacher, our Great Exemplar... At this time of Christmas, this season when gifts are given, let us not forget that God gave His Son, and His Son gave His life, that each of us might have the gift of eternal life." -President Gordon B. Hinckley
